Angles
Angles fit larger cracks, pockets and pods, and their design, coupled with the springiness of the steel used, gives these pitons inherently high holding power. When they’re not overdriven they are easy to remove and will last through many adventures.

Cliffhanger
Hooking small to medium flakes, edges and rugosities, the Cliffhanger is an indispensable tool on necky aid lines. Its bipod base and chiseled point with flat tip are designed to prevent rotation and enhance stability. A short sling of 13 mm (1/2”) webbing is necessary for use.

Price: R 179.40
Fifi Hook
Easy to hook in a daisy, a Fifi is a big wall essential. Ours is made from 7075 aluminum and comes with a 15 cm sewn sling.

Price: R 206.50
Grabbling Hook
Slightly oversized for hooking larger edges and flakes than a Cliffhanger, the Grappling Hook’s relatively flat throw allows it to fit in tighter spots than most hooks and its wide bipod base is remarkably stable even on small edges.

Price: R 192.20
Knife Blades
Classic pitons for thinner cracks, they have precision-ground blades for a consistent taper and a hole in the thickest part of the head to reduce weight without sacrificing strength or durability. We recommend the offset eyes be used for clipping.

Price: R 187.30
Lost Arrows
Tough enough to withstand repeated abuse, these hot forged big wall pitons are patterned after the original designs of John Salathé and as light as possible for their given size. When all else fails... stack ‘em.

Price: R 274.35
Peckers
For hairline cracks, subtle seams and indistinct fractures, the Pecker’s knife-thin, double-tapered blade fits where nothing else will.

Price: R 336.07
RURP's
Used in bottoming, incipient cracks, this aid tool has opened up otherwise unclimbable passages. To ensure its continued usefulness if fixed, the RURP has a swaged wire loop.

Price: R 224.69
Talons
Three hooks let you match hook size to edge easily from 5 mm (3/16”) to 13 mm (1/2”) and the extra broad base increases stability. The Talon should be slung with a 51 cm (20”) length of 14 mm (9/16”) tubular webbing

Price: R 278.46
Yosemite Hammer
Our classic wall hammer was introduced in ‘66 when big wall climbing was in its infancy. The hammer’s weight is concentrated in its investment-cast 17-4 stainless steel head.
