Objective:

Responsible for loading, transporting and delivering stock to clients diligently and carefully. This would include attending to the correct checks and administration as required.

Key Performance Areas:

Collecting and transporting items to customers and retails stores.

Timeous and accurate deliveries. Correct paper work.

Responsible for planning out the best delivery schedule and routes.

Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.

Ensure vehicle maintenance are being done timeously.

Drive safely and obey traffic laws.

Secondary role:

To assist with picking & packing in the warehouse

Pick, pack and process inventory via the computerised system

Work with the other members of the warehouse team to process orders accurately and efficiently so that deliveries can be done on time

Education:

Min Gr.12

Competencies:

Computer literacy: Outlook (basic); Excel (basic)

Attention to detail

Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking)

Excellent customer service

Integrity

Knowledge of Cape Town roads, areas and traffic patterns would be an advantage

Past experience:

5 years of driving experience – no prosecutions for driving offences
